Dining Experience Review: Our visit started off rough, with a wait of over 45 minutes without bread, silverware, or plates. However, after another customer spoke with the manager, the entire experience took a remarkable turn. The staff quickly responded by cleaning the bar, bringing out all requested menu items, and ensuring Sergio took the correct order. Their professionalism, charm, and grace completely elevated the atmosphere, turning what could have been a frustrating night into a five-star experience for everyone at the bar. Their ability to listen and improve service on the spot was impressive, and I would absolutely recommend this restaurant based on how well they handled the situation.

We had the best experience! The waiter Joshua was very friendly and helpful. I mentioned a food allergy to the waiter and he immediately alerted The managers Jacob and Diaz who did everything over and above to ensure my food was prepared without the allergen. The food and drinks were simply delicious. I 100% recommend this location because they truly care about their customers.

The staff and atmosphere are great and the food is excellent. We love this place.

Always a great place to go for lunch, dinner or special occasions. The ginger glazed salmon is my go to, I substituted sauteed spinach and a salad with their homemade ranch. They make the BEST old fashioned I've ever had! The oysters on a half shell are always fresh and delicious. They have wonderful desserts as well, the key lime pie is delicious!

My husband and I were in Houston for only 24 hours but were are so happy to have made it to Pappadeaux’s. Everything was fresh and delicious

So I love me some Pappadeaux's. However, this was my first time at this location. A good friend of mine was in from Cali, and we wanted our swamp things n the shrimp and grits. However, this location did not have them outside of brunch/lunch. We were a little disappointed. But it was my friends bday the next day, so we pushed thru. Lol. Now, our waitress apologized over and over. We advised it was not her fault, and we had a blast as always. I love the atmosphere and the service.

Me n the wife like to dine very much so pappadeaux was no exception! Service was good the atmosphere was mellow alot fine folks very good to dine with your love ones! Usually we wait to get seated because of the volume but today was a VIP day! Lol..

We had a great time at Pappadeaux's. The service was outstanding, Aliyah was the best, and the food was delicious. Aliyah made us feel welcome from start to finish. We started with a soup and salad. I ordered the Louisiana shrimp gumbo. The broth was seasoned well, and the shrimp was cooked perfectly. It was a little spicy, but I didn't mind because it tasted so good. The Pappadeaux house salad was so fresh. The lettuce was crispy, not withered. The avocado was ripe, not brown. The tomatoes were juicy, and even the hard-boiled egg was good. But the best part about the salad was how the salad and the dressing paired together. I don't usually take my salads as a takeaway item, but this one was so large we couldn't finish it, and it was still good the next day. I wanted to order the wild-caught grouper but wasn't sure about the tomato lobster broth, so, per Aliyah's recommendation, I tried the wild-caught red snapper & jumbo crab instead. It did not disappoint. The fish was a touch too salty, and the serving size of the jumbo crab was small, but I would order it again. I added a side of broccolini and truffle potatoes. The broccolini was chargrilled; what a way to enhance some good ole broccolini. And the potatoes, well, if you like truffle-flavored anything, you can't go wrong with truffle potatoes- delish! For dessert, we enjoyed a substantial slice of cheesecake. It was on the house in celebration of our special night. Lastly, I enjoyed a Virgin Pina Colada, and hubby enjoyed his French 75. The evening was beautiful. The entire experience was lovely. Can't wait to visit again.
